Driving Miss Daisy, 1989

A very quiet film about friendship, racism and growing old. It's one of the better films about growing old, yet, I couldn't help but get a little bored. While racism is dealt with in the film, its done in a very passive way, this may have been a more engaging film if this theme had taken a slightly larger role. Regardless, Tandy and Freeman give heartfelt performances and make the film worth watching.
