Summary of Double Dare
The job of standing-in for an actress when a dangerous event needs portraying on the big screen is not a position for the fainthearted. Jeannie Epper and Zoe Bell are fully qualified stuntwomen who often have to fulfill such positions, counting appearances in films and television shows such as KILL BILL, WONDER WOMAN, and XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS on their collected resumes. This documentary takes a look at the lives of Jeannie and Zoe as they attempt to find employment, stay in shape, and battle against a male-dominated stunt world that frequently favors men over women. Director Amanda Micheli casts a sympathetic eye over the plight of the two women, with her movie providing some little-known facts about an area of the film industry that is rarely discussed.
