Summary of Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Middle school is not an enjoyable experience for preteen Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) but a horrid ordeal of social land-mines that he must bear. To do so, he devises schemes to win him the recognition and status he feels he deserves -- all of which fail miserably. Greg chronicles his misadventures, thoughts and opinions in a diary to prepare for the day that he will no longer have to put up with nonsense.

One for the kids that doesn't surpass the age barrier.

Most movies for kids can be universally enjoyed by all. Some even making it into the classics (Lion King). This however does not. I can't speak for the younger generations, but as a person who enjoys a good-hearted kids show on more than a few... Read and rate it

We watched this with our pre-middle school kids, and we had a blast. Seldomly have I laughed so much at a movie that is more geared towards kis. But perhaps that's also because our 5th grade son, who'll go to middle school next year, at first was... Read and rate it
