The little Minions were awesome and so was this film! Very heart warming. And agnes is to die for! Story line was pretty great. I have lots of fun watching this film! Must see! 10/10

Fun But Unoriginal
The characters were fine, the idea of having the bad guy as a protagonist is good but not as bold as it could be. The storyline is really makes me wanna cry. Despite all of its possibilities of becoming a great movie, it is sadly a mildly entertaining one because of the burdened cliches.
Technical parts of the movie was matching the industry standards. The animation was great, effects were good and overall design quality was stylized. Still, I'm not a fan of computer generated 3D images. I really like the old Disney style 2D, hand drawn films. I just wanted to get it out there.

It's not funny. There is really no clever thing in this movie, like clever joke, plot, casting, or anything, so things are really flat and predictable. Bits in the movie are copied from elsewhere (e.g. the shape and sound of Dr. Gru's plane is similar to Jango Fett's plane from Star Wars Ep 2, the slow bike joke by Dr. Nefario is what Prof. Farnsworth from Futurama does). Stereotypical use of accent, i.e. baddy has Russian accent. And why Dr. Nefario has to have that bold British accent? It got tiring after a while.
The most annoying part is, looks like Jinni displayed a different poster for the movie, and that made me wait for that kid character to appear as the main character of the movie and of course that never happened. So maybe all of this was because I was expecting a different movie altogether? Could be. All in all, maybe it's suitable for children but it's definitely not for me.

Wonderful animation
I enjoyed when i watch this movie , positive point of the animation is its characters. Story isn't unique but it acceptable. This movie isn't only for child but also adults can enjoy it.

Not just for kids
Shrek doesn’t hold a candle to this animated film! This movie had me rolling on floor along with all the teeny boppers in the theater. It is great for all ages. I loved it, my 75 year old mother loved it, and my six year old was giddy with joy and loved the 3D effects. It was artistically/ visually captivating. All around a good time had by all. The dialogue was witty and funny, mixed with your typical slapstick jokes. The bad guy was bad, but also lovable in a way. I wish my imagination came even close to that of the creator of this film. In my book, he truly delivered

Fun to watch
Borrowing themes from many other films in this recently popular genre like Igor and Dr. Horrible, Despicable Me still manages to bring the goods. Three little orphan girls find a father figure in a ruthless super-villain who tries to steal the moon. As a family-oriented film, you can expect the laughs alongside the emotional mood. I laughed my brains out, and was still touched by the end.
