Summary of Dead Like Me: Life After Death

Picking up after the events of the hit pitch-black comedy series from Showtime, this feature-length movie is the event DEAD LIKE ME fans have been waiting for. But fear not, newbies--it also works as a stand-alone piece that should serve to properly introduce those unfamiliar with the show to its quirky style and topsy-turvy mythology. With the departure of Rube Sofer comes a new boss that Georgia and the rest of the grim-reaping team must get accustomed to. Meanwhile, everyone on the team begins breaking the steadfast rules of the profession, including Georgia, who reveals her supernatural identity to her still-living family. Directed by Stephen Herek (ROCK STAR, BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE), the feature-length LIFE AFTER DEATH recaptures the magic that made the original series such a fan-favorite.

Incomparable to the show
I loved the show, but this show stank. It had no substance, I've seen worse, but I was expecting better. And the new Daisy was like a different person, the personality wasn't even similar, and there was no plot, seriously nothing really happened.
Meh. If you loved the show, don't bother.
loved the show, but couldn't deal with the player changes. the new actress as daisy didn't feel at all like the same character. i missed rube and his calling george "peanut." i also feel like each episode had more content and conflict than the whole...
