A homage to the corny 80s cop movie
The good:
The style is fun. The cops have funny lines and are given plenty of opportunities to use them.
The bad: if your looking for any sort of plot structure, high drama etc ... well just keep on walking. This movie is all about a fun cop...

Stupid and fun
Usually I don't like this kind of action comedies. Jinni really 'read' me, predicting I'll give this title a good grade, while similar titles to it are predicted to get lower grades.
Yes, it is not a cinematic milestone, not anything we haven't...

Usually I don't like this kind of action comedies. Jinni really 'read' me, predicting I'll give this title a good grade, while similar titles to it are predicted to get lower grades.
Yes, it is not a cinematic milestone, not anything we haven't see before, and I agree that from such a director and cast expectations are high and they might not have fully delivered, yet I enjoyed it much better then The Other Guys or Rush Hour.

Seriously. It was painful to see so many actors I respect in a movie I had to force myself to watch. Kevin Smith has betrayed me. Bafaw.

Zack and Miri was much funnier
With Kevin Smith directing and with Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as the leads I had high hopes for this movie. I consider it to be a huge disappointment, not even close to being funny as I expected. Even Jason Lee and Kevin Pollak in small roles...
