Great Movie. I just saw it tonight for the first time, and *loved it*. Lots of silly humor. A great who-fun-it, with twists and turns, great characters, and of course, Tim Curry! Honestly, there is much to say except that this is definitely worth watching. Great acting, wonderful plot, clever lines, and many interesting characters all combine to make this one fantastic mystery.

I've seen this movie several times now and it never seems to get old for me. It's a classic comedy of mixups and misunderstandings, with some great performances and several quotable quotes (not the least of which is the ending line of the movie).

Incredibly well written it's the kind of film that a lot of people had no desire to see, but has to be one of the best films ever written. Truely an amazing cult classic!

Mildly funny at certain times, but ultimately this board game based movie is a waste. Without a doubt, it could have been better if some more effort had been put into it, and the plot had been the slightest bit more understandable. Tim Curry put an amazing amount of enthusiasm into his role in this, and you have to appreciate that, but I wish he'd saved it for a better movie. The problem is, they craft some mystery story that never makes the least bit of sense, and even in the end, when they have Tim Curry try to breathlessly explain it all in a funny way, they explain absolutely nothing! I have no idea what the deal is with the three endings, other than I suppose that this was Hollywood's attempt at testing different endings to see which one would work best (In a time before multiple endings were a home video mainstay). The humor is there in spurts, there are good actors here stuck with bad lines, but the story is mostly terrible. It was a nice try though, I'd like to see Hollywood attempt to make more board game license movies... they could only improve over Clue.
