I really enjoyed the meaning of this movie. It was refreshing even if a little depressing at the end. However, the humor was very crude and sophomorish (high school). I guess that is to be expected with an Adam Sandler movie.

Adam Sandler gives us what seems to be a combination of the crude humor of his previous movies with The Family Man and It's a Wonderful Life. Throw in the remote as a plot driver and there's your movie. The ability to fast forward, pause, rewind or even mute our lives is something that he thinks he wants but finds out that he really doesn't. Jumping from milestone to milestone of his life makes him realize how important it is to not just get through life to get to the next promotion but to really LIVE life day by day, hour by hour, and minute by minute. I love it when a movie hits home for me personally. There are some movies that stimulate the brain but others that touch the heart. This is definitely the latter. I couldn't help but think about decisions that I make in my own life in regards to priorities while watching this movie as well as the consequences of those decisions. I love the imagination and vision that went into what his life would be like in the future and how his life decisions make such an impact. What a great lineup of talent too. Adam Sandler is great as comic relief in this movie; Kate Beckingsale is beautiful and perfect as his wife; Henry Winkler is perfectly cast as Sandler's dad; Hasselhoff as Sandler's boss; Sean Austin as a constant gag; and Christopher Walken takes this movie to the next level as Morty. Great casting.
This is the humor you would expect in an Adam Sandler movie thus sex jokes and language throughout. PG-13 rating is earned.
I hate it when previews for a movie tell the entire story. However, a preview is perfect when it spotlights one aspect of the movie while not giving it all away. That is what is done here. I walked in thinking "light-hearted comedy" and walked away re-examining my life and my priorities. I can't say that this will be the case for everyone but you'll soon discover that Click is more than just a good laugh.

It's almost like a Christmas Carol except set in modern times with a dash of preaching about family versus work priorities to boot. Think of Scrooged with a clicker. The movie is not all that funny really. It starts with some typical Sandler humor and moves into a very dumb fart gag, but then shortly afterward goes right into preaching and abandons the humor entirely. It's not that this is a bad movie, but it's almost certainly not the comedy that it's presented to be.

All you really need to know is that this movie has non-stop laughter from beginning to end and that it has a sad undertone that makes me cry every time. Great film and I certainly recommend it to all. (On a side note: Although it is supposed to be a 'family' movie, don't let that fool you. There is quite a lot of language and some lurking sexual innuendos that may not be suitable for children.) 12/28/08

Sappy, manipulative, overly-ambitious and sentimantal, still somehow this movie scored with me. I had moments of true laughs, moments of true emotion and moments where I genuinely appreciated the imagination of the writers...even as I was aware that I was following a kitschy Hollywood formula film! But formulas exist for a reason, and every now and then a filmmaking team just hits the nail right on the head. This has been done with 'Click'. The message of the film--'don't let life pass you by, love people while you are able to'--may be a message we've heard and seen thousands of times, but for some reason in this somewhat ridiculous Sandler comedy I truly felt the message. Watch this movie, tough guy!

Just finished watching this great movie! Adam Sandler does a great job playing a family man who puts work first. When he receives a remote control showing what his life would be like if he continues the way he is, he turns his life around.

I think Adam Sandler is the greatest thing to come into the world since peanut butter and jelly and washing machines - and this movie is his greatest. I ditched a soccer game to watch this movie on TV and it was well worth it. Sit down with a cold brew and some popcorn and get ready to laugh, smile, nod your head in agreement and pass the tissues to your lady. 2 thumbs up.

Good one!
This is Adam Sandler's best. A workaholic family man who realizes what is important in life. Cute and hilarious, with important life lessons.
