Summary of Cheers for Miss Bishop

Ella Bishop (Martha Scott), a young Midwestern woman, is determined to teach college. As the film follows Ella over the years, she is consistently given support by Sam Peters (William Gargan), the local grocer and a close friend. Will Ella and Sam's relationship blossom into romance?
