Critics Reviews

The New York Times

Smith's knowing humor and unruffled style make a good antidote to gender chaos. Music by David Pirner contributes to the film's loose, inviting mood.

Users Reviews

Writer/director Kevin Smith finally finds his voice: genuine tender emotion + d**k and fart jokes x ultra-smart pop-reference laden dialogue. Smith's final product (starring a young Ben Affleck and a pre-My Name is Earl Jason Lee) hits all the right...

This is one of Kevin Smith's best films. Funny and poignant. Ben Affleck seems to be his best in Kevin Smith's movies.
