Profile of Ceremony
The mood of Ceremony is witty, sentimental, and humorous. The plot centers around weddings, wooing, and unfulfilled love. It is a comedy, romance, and independent movie. Stylistically, Ceremony is talky. In approach, it is realistic. It takes place, at least partly, on the beach. Ceremony is set in New York. It happens in contemporary times. It is especially suggested for a girls' night and a date night. Note that Ceremony includes drugs/alcohol, sexual content, and profanity.
Summary of Ceremony
Michael Angarano, Jesse Eisenberg and Uma Thurman star in this romantic comedy about a young man who falls head over heels in love with a beautiful older woman who's about to marry another man. Refusing to give up hope, the smitten lover (Eisenberg) heads for the seaside town where the wedding is set to take place in a last-ditch attempt to head off the nuptials. Unfortunately, he's unprepared to deal with the groom's family.
