I'll be honest, I could never really get into any of the older Bond movies, action and big hollywood titles aren't my typical genre. Then I caught parts of Casino Royal on TV. I immediately added it to my Netflix queue and I'm glad I did, Daniel Craig is a great actor and the movie even with it's flaws, overall is a really good movie 7.5 out 10 for me.

I have to admit I was pretty apprehensive about this new Bond, but Daniel Craig was great! There were a couple of times when it seemed like it could have ended sooner, but it was very well done and didn't rely on the gimicks and gadgets as much as...

Alot of good reviews before I watched this and I have to agree with them. Loved the gambling card game scene which took time to build and had a great payoff. Only the love scenes toward the end of the film could have been edited a little more but...

Only the love scenes toward the end of the film could have been edited a little more but that too had a great payoff. Like the new BatMan with Bale, this film had reinvented the Bond franchise and I look forward to the future with Daniel Craig as Bond.

"Casino Royale" is among the best Bond movies ever, and new hero Daniel Craig goes a long way toward re-invigorating the spy formula. There's an emphasis on action and, for a nice change, we see on screen where all the money this movie cost went to -- spectacular battles, beautifully filmed amid exotic settings. The plot does make some slight sense, but there's really no reason to pay much attention to it; the story chugs along comfortably (even though a good half-hour could have been easily chopped from its running time). If you've said so long to the spy genre and skipped the last half-dozen James Bond super-films, give "Casino Royale" a try -- you'll almost certainly like it.

than we used to. no more big car chases,and lot of womans,good and bad ones. the master villain here is not the main issue, but bond, with darker soul and complicated taste in womans (married ones ) who has no problem to kill and most of the time it...
