Here's another 'Jim being silly' movie! But, considering that's what he does best, it's really no surprise. This film is just an all-over delightful movie filled with a great cast, a unique plot and quite a few laughs (okay, more than a few!). The comedic genius within Carrey really comes to life in this satirical film about a man who begins to think everything and everyone is against him until one life altering occurrence, God endows him with his almighty powers and challenges Bruce to take a stab at his job (yes, even answering everyone's prayers!). Morgan Freeman as God was a brilliant move by the casting directors; couldn't think of a better person myself. This is definitely one of Jim Carrey's best films to date and Jennifer Aniston does a mighty fine job, too. Highly recommended. 1/3/09

I like Jim Carrey, I think he's generally funny but I have to say that this movie is just not that great.
I think the actors were awesome, but dialog was missing something... oh yea funny parts.
I do have to admit that this movie either makes you...

I do have to admit that this movie either makes you bust up, or just roll your eyes.
I thought that there were two great scenes in this movie. 1. when carrey does his news reports, 2. when carrey tries to woo Aniston and practically body slams her on the bed.
That was about it though. I did say however that the actors did great and I would like to see Morgan, Jim, and Jenn back in a GOOD movie soon.
This is just my opinion though.

Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey) is an ordinary guy who's had a lot of troubles in his life. One day after he shouts at God, God responds by switching roles with him.... Now Bruce has God's powers and abilities and he has to solve everyone's problems...
