A well done movie that makes you want to look futher into the true events that took place in Washington. The film is about the FBI and a mole the they are hoping against hope to catch. This film like many others was overlooked and could have recieved 4 stars. The only negative is that I could see more of the characters but overall this is a worthwhile viewing with top rate acting. Now I'm off to catch some of the special features on the film that look as good as the film itself.

A tight, tense, perfectly paced and well crafted thriller with some of the best performnces in the genre. You'll forget you're watching a thriller and start to wonder if Chris Cooper will win an Oscar for it, and you might even for the first time in your movie viewing life wonder who did the lighting. For sheer film enjoyment, I can't recommend a movie much more than this one.

One of the best movies of the year, "Breach" offers such stellar acting from all, particularly Chris Cooper, that this true spy tale really resonates. It's clear from the copious DVD extras, including a couple of documentaries about Richard Hansen, the real-life FBI spy who turned traitor, that the film follows the facts closely -- and gains even more impact for not employing Hollywood spy tropes or macho fantasies. With virtually no sex or violence in the movie, it nonetheless captures your interest through the wholly believable situations and characters, aided by super fine acting. You won't want to miss this one.
