I didn't enjoy it knowing many of the scenes were set up. And attacking poor Heston was sad. He's been a celebrity forever and is clearly out of touch with the rest of the world.
And just because the movie is a comedy it still should be true. So...

I rented this movie after watching Farenheit 9/11. I expected more out of Moore, to be honest, but although he raises some valid questions about the media, gun control laws, and the way we approach problems in America, he seems to wander around the country just looking to pick a fight. he doesn't make any points with this movie, and I never did get the bowling part. The "emotional" parts where he places pictures of little girls who were shot seem very set up and not at all sincere. If you're seeing this movie because of F911, it's not at the same level at all, so be prepared for disappointment.

Michael Moore tells it like it is
I doubt that even the most liberal whack-job agrees with everything Michael Moore says. I know I don't. But this movie is his most poignant to me. The way that Moore shows how ingrained violence and guns are in our society. We really are all cowboys. My favorite part was the interviews with Matt Stone and Marilyn Manson.
