I think Beetlejuice is a classic. It created a feel all its own that few other films do. Yes, it is mismatched, but in all the right ways. It doesn't make real sense, but it makes comic and emotional sense for some really strange and elusive reason....

I think Beetlejuice is a classic. It created a feel all its own that few other films do. Yes, it is mismatched, but in all the right ways. It doesn't make real sense, but it makes comic and emotional sense for some really strange and elusive reason. How they fit in the banana song is just beyond me. I didn't even know I liked Tim Burton that much.

This movie is one of those movies you'll watch over and over and still find parts to laugh about. If you are having a halloween party and you need a movie, go with Beetlejuice.

Love this movie. Tried to watch it on instant, however, and the movie stopped about 40 minutes from the end and kept looping back to the same 5 seconds. Tried to fast forward, and then there was no sound.

It's way out there, as you'd expect from Burton. Some of the ideas here are insane, most of the special effects here are groundbreaking - you'll be amazed at what they were able to do with what was available in that era. Michael Keaton is in one of...

It's way out there, as you'd expect from Burton. Some of the ideas here are insane, most of the special effects here are groundbreaking - you'll be amazed at what they were able to do with what was available in that era. Michael Keaton is in one of his best roles here, and this character would be nothing without his acting. The song, you'll never get it out of your head (Shake Senora), and the accompanying dances are very memorable. Even Winona Ryder is awesome and brooding in this (I won't make the obvious jokes). It's up there with Burton's best, and should be seen. I imagine a lot of children were scared to death watching this, as well as the subsequent cartoon TV series.
