Because I Said So, 2007

I'd give it 2 1/2 stars because I didn't not like it but I can't go as far as to say that I liked it. Diane Keaton's character is definitely very annoying, but Mandy Moore's character is very endearing and sweet. To be honest, I rented it because I thought I would get brownie points from my wife for renting a chick flick. That backfired, because she thought the movie was stupid. Oh, well.

this movie touched a very sensitive nerve of mine. the mother in the film (Diane Keaton) want the best for her douther and that means -marriage-. she will do enything to merry her, even if her plans are insane... as an unmarried girl my nightmare was that my mother will do something like that, so after watching this movie I forced my mother to watch it to and to swear she will never do that to me. the movie is quite overdone but the point is taking... it's humorous and nuts but it's not a very good one. there is a lot of boring moments and the acting isn't so good as well. unless the issue is interesting you, you can skip that one.
