Very neat style, not a fan of the actual movie
The graphics were really cool however, I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. It was too long and and I didn't like the political message added to it.

So bad I cannot do this review justice
Who cares if it's in 3D (which, by now, everyone realises it not REALLY 3D but instead two flat images at two different depths)? Who cares if it's got wonderful animation? Who cares if it's the most expensive movie ever?

So bad I cannot do this review justice
Who cares if it's in 3D (which, by now, everyone realises it not REALLY 3D but instead two flat images at two different depths)? Who cares if it's got wonderful animation? Who cares if it's the most expensive movie ever?
It doesn't matter, if you're going to make a movie that has EXACT same plot as so many other films that's come before, such as Pocahontas and Dances with Wolves, done a million times worse. Cliched characters, corniest bad guys, most overdone plot ever.
If no one had been brainwashed with the hype prior to seeing this movie, everyone would trash it as it rightly deserves to be...

it doesn't feel like a movie, and it's not supposed to. It's supposed to make you feel like your there. I don't really like the story to feel too idealic and posed. This feels like you stumbled in on a war and don't know what the right thing to do...

it doesn't feel like a movie, and it's not supposed to. It's supposed to make you feel like your there. I don't really like the story to feel too idealic and posed. This feels like you stumbled in on a war and don't know what the right thing to do is. Life isn't black and white, and most of it is spent deciding what is right. The characters act realisticly, flawed and human. So many good movies use characters who act above thier reality. This movie has many who struggle to live thier life and often make bad decisions. I love the realism, the honesty, the beauty, the immersive and emotional story of pandora.

A manipulative, unoriginal, and flat excuse for a movie is "visually stunning" but has practically no screenplay, or any qualities that are even remotely interesting. The ironic part about Avatar, is the fact that while the movie is in the 3-D the story is 1-D. Hollywood and a Mr. James Cameron need to get their crap together. This is just an example at how stupid and naive audiences are. Get it? Naive = Na'vi, see? Mr. Cameron is play a big fat joke on the audience, and it worked for some god awful reason.

Have seen better
And now watch the movie at your home in 2D... I watched it 3 times in IMAX 3D, and it was awesome. But what the visually kick ain't their.... It ain't that good anymore.

Furn Gully starring Smurfs..... yet Fern Gully was 100X better than this. Thank God the Hurt Locker won Best Picture over this drivel.
Why didn't Cameron call Pandora 'The Middle East' and just say what he really meant?

This movie was absolutely visually stunning. The images were beautiful and it was well worth the amount they paid to make the movie. Yet, why do we need to draw this story out so long? My legs cramped and I almost fell asleep. Captured by the eye...

This movie was absolutely visually stunning. The images were beautiful and it was well worth the amount they paid to make the movie. Yet, why do we need to draw this story out so long? My legs cramped and I almost fell asleep. Captured by the eye candy around you, you're sideswiped by Cameron's enviromentalist charged, human-hating, non-patriotic sermon. You're pounded endlessly into the brain with how bad we are as a human race and everything else is far more superior than mankind. Cameron, you're far from correct. What's up with the marketing to kids? This movie consisted of swearing dialogue in every sentence. Why do they keep taking shots at America and Bush still? "Fight terror with terror," the bad guy says. You hate America and our military so much then quit trying to make money here with your attempts to slam us. Oh yeah, what were you thinking about that "mating" scene? A bit disgusting I'd say when a human is supposed to be occupying that avatar's body. Still, people say it's just a movie. Is it true that anything is just a movie when your kids are brought into it and affirmations are made to what society is trying to teach them? Hmmm...anyhow, it's worth seeing for the visuals but don't fall for the humanist sermon constantly being driven throughout this letdown.
