Enlightening and beautiful.

The message has been done to death about 10 years ago now it is just cliche. The army there are just completely unrealistic with how evil they are. If it was not for the rocking graphics I would have been bored to death. This story sucks but the...

About half way through seeing this film.....
...I thought I wish I'd gone to Invictus playing in the other screen. Pretty and technically accomplished, it has the most juvenile story. I mean when your villages are being blasted to bits, is the top priority to revive Sigourney Weaver?

Very neat style, not a fan of the actual movie
The graphics were really cool however, I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. It was too long and and I didn't like the political message added to it.

So bad I cannot do this review justice
Who cares if it's in 3D (which, by now, everyone realises it not REALLY 3D but instead two flat images at two different depths)? Who cares if it's got wonderful animation? Who cares if it's the most expensive movie ever? It doesn't matter, if...

most awsome movie ever
it doesn't feel like a movie, and it's not supposed to. It's supposed to make you feel like your there. I don't really like the story to feel too idealic and posed. This feels like you stumbled in on a war and don't know what the right thing to do...

A manipulative, unoriginal, and flat excuse for a movie is "visually stunning" but has practically no screenplay, or any qualities that are even remotely interesting. The ironic part about Avatar, is the fact that while the movie is in the 3-D the...

And now watch the movie at your home in 2D... I watched it 3 times in IMAX 3D, and it was awesome. But what the visually kick ain't their.... It ain't that good anymore.

Furn Gully starring Smurfs..... yet Fern Gully was 100X better than this. Thank God the Hurt Locker won Best Picture over this drivel. Why didn't Cameron call Pandora 'The Middle East' and just say what he really meant?

This movie was absolutely visually stunning. The images were beautiful and it was well worth the amount they paid to make the movie. Yet, why do we need to draw this story out so long? My legs cramped and I almost fell asleep. Captured by the eye...

Pretty good movie. Lots of awesome special effects, cool actions scenes and an interesting story. I would have liked it better if it weren't so long and slow though. The first and last 30 minutes of the film are the best.

I'll give it a 3 just for the amazing visuals. The plot was rehashed cliched left-wing pablum. The visuals won't impress on dvd so if you didn't see it in theatres and you're not a tree-hugging, miltary-hating, left-wing nut. skip it.

I would have scored this as 7/10 If I had seen at home on DVD. However, saw it on an IMAX screen in 3D, which notched it up to 9/10 for the sheer experience and spectacle.
