The mood of Avatar is stylized, captivating, and exciting. The plot centers around benign aliens, interracial relations, and culture clash. It is an adventure, fantasy, and action movie. Stylistically, Avatar is futuristic, is epic, and has a Hollywood tone. In approach, it is fantastical and serious. It takes place, at least partly, on a distant planet. Summary of Avatar

On the lush alien world of Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

About half way through seeing this film.....

...I thought I wish I'd gone to Invictus playing in the other screen. Pretty and technically accomplished, it has the most juvenile story. I mean when your villages are being blasted to bits, is the top priority to revive Sigourney Weaver? Read and rate it
