Taking an uncompromising stance in her approach to music, Ani releases albums on her own record label, and tours the globe on a regular basis. This fiercely independent approach has won over a huge audience of fans, many of whom delight in connecting to an artist who eschews the corporate publicity machine, and instead relates to her audience on a highly personal level. TRUST presents footage from two concerts, shot in May 2004, at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.
