Summary of American Cowslip
This black comedy tells the tale of drug addict and all-around loser Ethan Inglebrink (Ronnie Gene Blevins), whose heroin habit and devotion to gardening take up most of his time. When Ethan makes a last-ditch effort to mend his ways, his efforts stink to high heaven. Needing money to avoid eviction, the agoraphobic Ethan enters a gardening contest, but an unlikely romance and an old enemy create obstacles.
