Summary of A Fork in the Road
An escaped convict finds his troubles compounded when a simple game of hide the dead body snowballs into an elaborate kidnapping scheme that threatens to send him and an abused housewife to prison for the rest of their lives. Will (Josh Cooke) was fleeing the police when he ducked into a barn owned by April (Jaime King) and her husband Martin. When a shouting match in the house ends with the sound a gunshot, April drags her husband's body outside and encounters Will, who agrees to help her dispose of Martin in exchange for assistance getting past the police roadblocks and into Mexico. Trouble is, Martin is still very much alive, and should he manage to get free, Will and April will both be in a world of hurt.
